Looking for ways to volunteer and supply resources to help others comes naturally to Benjamin Ginsburg. He helps feed the community, serving meals at JUF Uptown Cafe and making grocery deliveries for Maot Chitim to families in need.
He joined the JUF family early, first as a Lewis Summer Intern, then taking on growing leadership roles in the Back from Birthright Committee, LEADS, Gesher, as a YLD Board member and then a YLD Executive Board member. He has especially looked for ways to help during the COVID-19 pandemic, supplying time and resources to related projects.
He is known as a mensch -- a model "nice Jewish boy" and a leader in the Chicago Jewish community, inviting his large group of friends to take part in Jewish life. He belongs to Anshe Shalom and his religious practice guides his every day.
