With his positive attitude and caring heart, Daniel Frankel brings people together in harmonious ways, sharing his love of Judaism through song and the strings of his guitar. He expresses himself fearlessly and encourages others to be their best selves. He applies Jewish values to everything he does, which makes him accepting of others despite their differences and a shining example to the children at the school where he works.
He plays guitar and sings at Congregation Etz Chaim and has done so for years. In addition, he has volunteered with Seasons and Apex hospices, visiting patients, and providing music and encouragement during a challenging time. He has also played at the Greater Chicago Jewish Festival with other Etz Chaim members.

HOW DO YOU GIVE BACK:
Volunteering and giving my time at Congregation Etz Chaim. I used to play guitar for the elderly in nursing homes and for elderly in hospice. Volunteered at Seasons and Apex Hospice. A few years ago, one of the Rabbis from Etz Chaim asked if I could volunteer to play guitar at the Greater Chicago Jewish Festival with a few other temple members.
