36 grid 2017

From entrepreneurs, to advocates for social change, to Jewish professionals paving the way for the future, this city is full of talented, giving, forward-thinking young adults striving to make the world a better place.

Take a look at this year's Double Chai in the Chi: Chicago's Jewish 36 Under 36 list!

Presented by JUF's Young Leadership Division (YLD) and Oy!Chicago, Double Chai in the Chi (the letters of the Hebrew word "Chai," which means "life," also represent the number 18) shines a spotlight on the faces of Chicago's Jewish future and recognizes the amazing contributions of this generation.

The young professionals featured are noted for making a difference through their work, giving back in their free time, and earning distinction in the Jewish community and beyond.

To recognize and congratulate an honoree, you can make a donation to JUF in their honor - any donation up to $36 will be matched, doubling the impact and benefit to those in need in our community! You can also include a special message to the honoree, who will be notified of your donation.

To celebrate with the 36 in person, come to YLD's annual WYLD party on Thursday, Aug. 10 at Old Crow Smokehouse in River North. ( Get more information and register ).
