The struggle of being a new parent is real. Tell us your story

Bringing Up Jewish Baby photo update

There's nothing more joyful or difficult than being a new parent, and raising the perfect mensch is no small task. So, we at Oy!Chicago, in partnership with jBaby Chicago, thought we'd honor these parenting war stories with a special blog series, "Bringing Up Jewish Baby" to give a voice to parents who have been through it all -- the good, the bad, and the poop.

Whether your parenting journey has been simple or complicated, hilarious or heartbreaking -- we want to help you tell your story and share it with those who can relate to or learn from it.

To pitch your idea, write a paragraph describing what your piece would be about and send it to info@oychicago.com by Tuesday, Nov. 1.

The only requirements are that the post should in some way relate to the theme, and that you are 21 or older. We will review your submission and let you know if we are interested in working with you and running your piece in the series, which will run the week of Nov. 14-18.

Please note that Oy!Chicago is unable to offer compensation for our blog series submissions.

Thanks for your interest!
