Lindsay Barnett truly exemplifies l'dor v'dor, carrying on the traditions of the generations in her family that have come before her through her involvement in charitable causes in the Jewish community and beyond. In addition to her longtime involvement with JUF, she is also chair of the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation's Annual Casino Night event, and supports Canine Therapy Corps.
She also carries on family tradition in her professional life - for the past five years, Lindsay has been a second grade teacher at the same school in Chicago that her grandfather and great-uncle attended. She is constantly thinking about ways teachers can effectively engage children with kinesthetic and visual learning styles in addition to those with auditory predilections.
Her passion for education goes beyond her classroom. She co-founded and serves as the CEO of
Pup Quiz™
, which provides high-quality, reusable math tools for students from K-5. When the pandemic hit, Lindsay began donating kits to school districts in need and children's hospitals, where access to eLearning can be limited.

HOW DO YOU GIVE BACK:
When I learned that there were millions of kids across the country and over 100,000 kids in the Chicago area that didn’t have access to e-learning during the pandemic, my priority was to get educational materials to these children. I started coordinating Pup Quiz™ math kit donations and deliveries, so students could learn from home.
SOMETHING MOST PEOPLE DON’T KNOW ABOUT ME:
I coach a co-ed basketball team for elementary students.
