After Ross Putterman's uncle Richard Schoenstadt passed away, Ross was inspired to carry on his uncle's legacy and values through meaningful philanthropic work. He founded and currently runs the  Richard Schoenstadt Memorial Foundation,  which raises funds for organizations promoting education and human rights for Jewish-related causes. The foundation supports a different organization every year, and in its first five years has raised over $150,000.

At his day job, Ross is no less dedicated -- he's been recognized as a lead undergraduate recruiter at Boston Consulting Group, where he helps new hires with learning and development.

Although work and running the foundation take up most of his time and energy, Ross still goes out of his way to mentor college students and colleagues and makes sure he contributes to organizations that support the Jewish community and Israel.
