Reva Minkoff
Reva Minkoff is an inspiration for women in technology. She spearheaded two successful companies, DigitalGroundUp Inc and Digital4Startups Inc., has written about her passion for women in technology in Crain's Chicago Business and motivates other women to join the tech world through mentoring and teaching at a variety of institutions. Reva is a member of Ms. Tech and Women Tech Founders, in addition to handfuls of other organizations to which she has given her time and energy. She is also a passionate teacher in her field, serving as adjunct professor at The Startup Institute and Digital Professional Institute and hosting free workshops and mentoring sessions for small businesses.
Reva also inspires Jewish members of her community by being part of #TeamTaglit and encouraging young Jews to participate in Birthright Israel. As she approaches her upcoming wedding, she has also become involved in the Interfaith Family Council, and is participating in programs for interfaith couples.

How do you give back?
I mentor entrepreneurs, small businesses and their employees in Chicago and beyond, teaching classes and workshops, offering office hours, and meeting with people one on one. I also volunteer with Future Founders, the Founder Institute and the Startup Institute to try to help cultivate the next generation of entrepreneurs, and have been getting more involved with Chicago Scholars and One Million Degrees, two other great Chicago organizations.

The Chicago Kosher BBQ Festival and Competition grows into a legit festival with more attendees than Sausagefest and 1871 holds a regular exchange program with Israel, sending Chicago companies back and forth to Herzliya.
