Gail Schnitzer Eisenberg
After a long day as a litigation associate at Dentons US LLP, Gail Schnitzer Eisenberg goes above and beyond, doing pro bono work advocating for young women in need of assistance. And after all that, she goes home to care for another young woman -- her 2-year-old daughter, Julia.
Community service is something Gail does not take lightly. She serves on various boards and committees, including JUF's Young Lawyer's group, the Decalogue Society of Lawyers and the Jewish Alumni Network of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Alumni Association. She also volunteers legal services in various settings including with the Domestic Violence Legal Clinic, ACLU of Illinois's Judicial Bypass Coordination Project, teaching volunteer courses in legal education and so much more. She even founded the Collegiate Congressional Debate Association. When she's not working or volunteering, she enjoys taking her toddler to an array of tot Shabbat services, jBaby, and PJ Library programs.

Chicago's Jewish community in 10 years:
Stronger than ever! I have been extremely impressed with the programs and organizations in our community reaching out to young Jews, supporting our efforts as we venture from college to our first jobs and start families. These programs are investments in the Jewish future of Chicago and will surely produce a more aware, involved, and devoted population.
Me in 10 years:
I hope to experience continued success at my law firm, Dentons US LLP, while raising two well-adjusted, caring children, and continuing to give back to the community through pro bono legal work and philanthropy.
