Michael has also been known to donate food or portions of restaurant proceeds to benefit local organizations or causes. He also gives of his time, in the Jewish community and elsewhere. He serves on the Associate Board of CJE SeniorLife, the Young Professionals Board of Keshet, the Illinois Restaurant Association Government Affairs Committee and the Chicago Children's Choir Ambassadors Board. Describe yourself in 10 words or less:

Passionate and loving individual striving to provide opportunities to others.

How do you Jew in Chicago?

My wife and I enjoy Shabbat dinners with family and friends. I also enjoy occasionally attending Shabbat days at my daughters’ schools, so we can have the special “daddy and me” time to sing songs and learn the traditions together. When possible, we strive to volunteer for those in need (Keshet, CJE) to learn about those less fortunate and to find ways to make positive impacts.

Me in 10 years:

Still extremely involved in the lives of my three daughters. Still working to leave a legacy in which when I am gone, people come up to my wife and children to tell them stories of how their daddy/husband helped to provide opportunities for a better tomorrow for them and their families.
