Sara Siegall

All-star attorney, mother of two, musical theater enthusiast and rebbetzin - calling Sara Siegall well-rounded would be an understatement. She's helped triple the size of her firm over the past eight years and is committed to a high caliber of excellence and ethics in her practice as a member of the Chicago-Lincoln chapter of the American Inns of Court.

A huge supporter of the performing arts, Sara has been serving on the board of directors for Porchlight Music Theater (which performs at Stage 773 in Lakeview) for the last four years. She also takes an active role at Beth Tikvah Congregation in Hoffman Estates where her husband, Taron Tachman, is the rabbi, helping organize programs for young families.

Sara has always made time for organizations that make a difference; she is a member of JUF's Ben-Gurion Society, contributes to the Southern Poverty Law Center and was recently a member of Impact 100.

How do you give back?

In addition to my work with Porchlight and Inns of Court, I am a regular contributor to Southern Poverty Law Center and JUF. I also in 2013 and 2014 was a member of Impact 100, an all-female, 100 percent member-funded organization that gives $100,000 grants each year to deserving local non-profit initiatives.

How do you Jew in Chicago?

I am active member of Beth Tikvah Congregation in Hoffman Estates where my husband, Taron Tachman, is the rabbi. I regularly attend tot Shabbat, “babies and bagels” and other Jewish family programming at Beth Tikvah and throughout the Chicagoland Jewish community with my daughters Sylvie (23 months) and Bayla (12 months).
