Rachel Stein

Any mother will tell you that being Mom is its own job, but it doesn’t stop Rachel Stein from making time to give back. Outside of raising her two boys, Adam and Jordan, Rachel serves on the JUF’s Young Women’s Board, the JCC Women’s Auxiliary Board and the Family Service of Glencoe Board. Holding a Master’s in Child Development, she previously ran the early childhood program at the Mayer-Kaplan JCC.

“Whenever Rachel sits on a board or committee you can guarantee she will give it her all whether it’s fundraising, speaking, or organizing an event,” said her friend, Ron Krit. Whether at her synagogue teaching a class on parenting issues, with the Glencoe Parent Teacher Organization, or in the community at large, Rachel’s volunteerism never ends. Neither does the mom gig, but when she finds time for herself, she enjoys Pilates and Spinning classes.
