Joe Seigle

Joe Seigle

Joe Seigle's exuberance, generosity, and dedication drew him multiple nominations for Double Chai. As the incoming president of the JUF's Young Leadership Division, Joe will help engage nearly 6,000 young Jewish Chicagoans in philanthropy, leadership, and social endeavors during his upcoming term.

"Joe is a one-of-a-kind high-energy personality," says Jon Hootman, a friend who nominated him. Whether redeveloping a vacant Bucktown warehouse for a new restaurant and concert venue with his firm JFS Realty Capital, serving as secretary of the board of the River North Chicago Dance Company, sitting as a member of the Next Generation Board of the U.S. Holocaust Museum, or engaging venture capital investments to provide seed capital to start-up enterprises in the area and around the country, Joe is a "true supporter of a variety of unique causes."

"He has an innate ability to provide perspective and understanding to a multitude of life's complex situations," says Hootman. "He is well-read, well-traveled, and a pleasure to just have a conversation with."
