Dan Raskin

As an owner of Manny's Deli, Dan Raskin is not only continuing the Manny’s Deli legacy in Chicago—he’s bringing innovative ideas to the Chicago landmark.

“From adding free WiFi, to developing their catering business, and also adding items to the menu like the Chopped Salad, Dan is helping take Manny's to the next level,” said friend Josh Weinberg, a 2012 Double Chai honoree. “Because of Danny's efforts, Manny's corned beef is now sold in Costcos throughout the Midwest.”

A Deerfield native, being Jewish has always been very important to Danny, especially now that he has a newborn son.

“Danny is a genuine, hardworking Jew from Chicago,” Josh said. “He makes sure to go out of his way to make people happy. Danny is an amazing father, husband, and friend.”
